Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall

Went to see H F-W at the Cheltenham Literature Festival a few weeks ago. He has a new book out called 'River Cottage Veg Everyday!' and he was talking to the audience about how he had stopped eating meat and fish for a few months and had found new ways to cook with fruit and vegetables. He was really good and he came across very well - funny and friendly. After the talk he signed books so I was able to have a chat with him. I did ask him if Oscar (his son) wanted a girl friend but he said that Oscar is more interested in shooting rabbits and pigeons than girls at the moment, but he did say to drop him a line...might just do that as he's really hot! Just getting the hang of this - seem to be following some people I didn't choose...not sure why! Anyway, it's pretty cool being able to make virtual boards of all the things I like, I've created boards with pictures of my friends, pets and fashion. You should give it a go if you haven't tried it yet - there's a whole world of 'likes' out there!

Gleek

Last night I went to see Glee: The 3D Concert Movie  - it was awesome, I loved it! It's based on the songs that New Directions sing and also on the real life stories of some Glee fans. There was a little boy in the audience who was interviewed for the film and you get to see him performing like a mini Blaine, the lead singer of the Warblers - hilarious! Here is a link to his video and the trailer of the film - enjoy!

iPad 2

Yesterday it was my birthday and I got an iPad 2 - it is fantastic and I am looking forward to doing all my blogging on it. Apple are apparently already planning the iPad 3, but it's impossible (not to mention too expensive) to keep up with technology, so I am very happy with my iPad 2!

Surfer dude

When I stayed at the Ace Hotel (MASSIVE name drop!) in Palm Springs, I met a great guy, Chris 'Crash' Carson, and his friend Jessica. Chris teaches surf on Venice Beach - pretty cool, huh? He also is in a band called Freelance Johnson, and you can see him being interviewed here. Chris and Jessica were the nicest people ever, and super cool with it.

What I'm listening to tonight

I was looking on You Tube for something to post and while I was searching I was listening to Nicki Minaj's  Super Bass and then I thought why not post that? It's a cool catchy song with a great video to go with it - enjoy!

Facebook - old news?

Facebook may be the original social networking site but Google+ is the new kid on the block. I'm just waiting for my account to kick in and hopefully I won't have to wait too long... here's what it's all about.

Bridesmaids - go see it...if you're too young to get in, do whatever you have to to sneak in - I just know this will be my fave film of 2011
